The Parents as Partners (PAP) is in its second year at A Child's Garden. Our main objective is to support the staff and students at A Child's Garden. We encourage communication between parents and teachers and we want to raise parent awareness and promote involvement at the school.


We need volunteers for big and small roles alike -- all making a meaningful difference to the children of A Child's Garden. If you only have an hour once or twice during the school year, or if you are interested in taking on a leadership role, there is a spot for you. In addition, the PAP meets once a month. We welcome new faces and prospective parents. The school and PAP will benefit from hearing your ideas, and you will be better informed about all the past and upcoming events at the school.

Watch for meeting updates and ongoing activities via our PAP update in the monthly newsletter and on this page. To keep you better informed, PAP is in the process of creating an information board near the front entrance of the school. Look to the "PAP News" for information on volunteer opportunities, upcoming school events, and contact information for the current PAP committee chairs.

With your help we are looking forward to the 2009-2010 school year being another great year at A Child's Garden. We will continue to have a lot of fun together creating enjoyable experiences for the children and parents, and we welcome your involvement. If you have any ideas, comments, or suggestions, we would love to hear from you.
